There’s a few guys who may historically feel like a reach in your 2nd rounds of dynasty drafts, who will hit. Just have to know who to select, because there are more landmines for this reason as well. But the gems are there. Will post a list in a day or 2 of them

With a weaker overall draft class overall, not a lot of consensus, contracts for new “premium” positions like Y-TE, those positions took over as the new “top 50 WR pick” in a lot of ways. That’s why the draft, this one especially, felt like a ton of reaches on day 2, but it wasnt

This draft solidified exactly what we’ve been seeing signs of the last season and a half, as a new, now, league-wide era has emerged: 12 and 13 personnel, to counter what defenses have done with the 2-high shell

Takeaway from this: go and get your guys in rookie drafts. Draft capital will not mean as much with this new trend. I firmly believe we will see a few more 3rd-7th round players emerge as actual fantasy/dynasty options than past years for this reason. Esp some of these WRs

Also think Keaton Mitchell is going to be a viable FLEX option this year

Fantasy analysts will tell you the Steelers winners of the 2024 Draft are their RBs (which is not incorrect) when I believe at least half of the plan to assemble this type of OL class is to make it impossible, in time, for Justin Fields to fail (sack rate, his #1 inadequacy)

1.01 for Joe Burrow or ARich
1.02 for Garrett Wilson or Amon
1.03 for Olave
1.04 for Fields
1.05 for Puka
1.06 for Jordan Love
Etc

Just examples, but sometimes the “shiny new toy” can get you true cornerstone pieces with their allure

There is ALWAYS risk in actually using those picks, any draft picks for that matter. For every AJ Brown there’s a N’Keal Harry. For Every CJ Stroud there��s a Trey Lance. And so on.

Sometimes the best move after hoarding them, is trading them for young, already defined production
