@RasmusBoysen92 Portugal faced Norway, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and France. No complaints but not the most accessible of tournaments. We did amazing with most of them, but we're not THERE yet.

@AndebolPortugal Uma medalha que seria acarinhada e respeitada bem melhor por nรณs. Foi por tรฃo pouco. Foram bravos! Acredito que a medalha nรฃo tardarรก.
@NunoHFranco Isto รฉ brincar ร (e com a) ciรชncia. Uma vergonha de fazer corar governantes ditos sรฉrios e competentes. Sรณ doido voltaria a ser cientista em Portugal.
#HappyNewYear2025 !
A globally positive year for me (one great publication plus some rejected grants), as 2024 reaches its epilogue, I want to wish a successful 2025 to my scientific colleagues and collaborators. Eager to read your newest epic findings in the next 12 months!
๐ข Historic day for Portugal and phage therapy! ๐ต๐น A framework was approved, allowing magistral preparation of personalized phage products. ๐ Grateful to Jean-Paul Pirnay, my group @AzeredoLab Portuguese patients, and doctors who signed a petition inspired by the Belgium model.
@brodriguezsci It's way past Mastodon, it's thriving science-wise. You choose your network and content, there's no algorithm imposing content on you. I'm also keeping my account here until the core of my network has fully migrated over there, but I'm (re)posting here less and less.
1/8 Publication Alert! Delighted to share the publication of a collaboration by Gerben Marsman (@zychlinsky lab @mpiib_berlin) and @xuhui_zheng (former PhD student in my lab) et al detailing how Histone H1 kills MRSA (https://t.co/PkGmfLawWF).
