Reducing the #OpenStreets hours by half is a dangerous, potentially fatal mistake. These pics show a count of pedestrian/vehicle use of Willoughby Ave between 7 and 9 am with both counts seeing over 1,400 movements in 2 hours. People will be on the road regardless of barriers

These streets are well-used and loved. Volunteers spend time manually counting pedestrians/cars and last week we saw 1,657 movements down Willoughby with just 2% from vehicles.

A 24/7 #openstreet is a no brainer.

75% of our streets are dedicated to cars and trucks, forcing the rest of us to compete for scraps.
