@ramit@ramit Can you define what budgeting means to you? You state it's the "worst word in the history of the world." IWT pg 127. Is the dislike about tracking spending and/or something else? I would consider your CSP a budget. So I'm curious to understand.
@SevaniRoman@ramit Thinking along the same lines; wanting clarity around money. Most walk around in a London Fog regarding money. A CSP, spending plan, or a budget are methods of gaining clarity. Most people don't have their North Star as to why they should. So they continue to walk in the fog.
@Rivian I had that, until I had to replace the tires at 24k, 2 years... ouch! Might me less maintenance but the tire costs are a bit more than I expected.
@ramit What have you found that works for people with ADHD? I've worked with a couple people with ADHD around spending plans but it never goes well. What advice would you have that I could try and help them get to their rich life?
@ramit CPS vs (wait for it)... Budget. U hate that B word. but honestly to me your CPS is a budget just changing out the lipstick. It sounds like a Budget to you is about tracking spending. Ch 4 IWT 3:00 mark "who wants to track their spending." Is that correct?
@ramit Listening to IWT book, chapter 3 you mention password manager Lastpass. I hope you've switch by now, due security breaches, and honestly @1Password is 1000x better. I was LP user, had to switch begrudgingly, but so glad I did!
@ramit Thinking about it... I'm still conducting some due diligence on you, mainly starting with your book. Already part of a money coaching program, but always seeking to learn more.
@ramit@ramit I've grown up with buffers. Checking account buffers, Savings buffer. Traveling buffers. Doesn't this cover up the fundamental issue of a lack of awareness and clarity of our spending? Do you suggest not tracking during these times, understanding planned vs. actuals?
@ramit This is so interesting. The more I understand about money, the more I realize it's more psychological than numbers. People build such a strong habit with extreme furgilness, once the goal is met, they can't turn it off.
@chacousa on referral frm @rocknwater purchased first pair for son's summer online. Appears sandals run large. Went to use your "Free & Easy" return, told no since these are custom. Site says nothing about no returns for custom. Very disappointed
@Shell Iโm constantly being logged out of the shellrecharge app. I log in and go add payment method, about a minute later I hit save and app says Iโm logged out. Invalid session. One of the major issues with EV driving, poor tech instead of simple at pump payments.
@DanDawes@BlooomInc I will admit ive changed my strategy from the accumulation to creating passive income streams with he https://t.co/lcFeeSkNUo. Kinda of an alternative but really a mindshift of what/how to retire
@llsethj@ElectrekCo@Rivian When the lift gate is open, how tall is the highest point. Iโve had issues with other lift gates hitting my garage door. I know it depends on tire size and ride height. Or May how much higher does the gate go above the roof?
New goals for 2/22/22. @ynab to have more family memories. I would use the $2,222 to fund our goal of family vacations this spring for going to the N Cal redwoods for a week. #YNAB22Giveaway
