@Shankapotomas Brooke was funny and witty but she showed the world the truth of what ALS does. I met her at bark social in Bethesda, MD and she was a really cool person. I hoped she would live forever. She made the world a better place

@MinoShah I just saw a post from Craig Reagan with an excerpt revealing that the FDA doesn't test riluzole and other nations authorities found counterfeit pills being distributed. Nobody cared. FDA didn't change. FDA still denies promising treatments

That's why they tell us "sorry, you have ALS. There's no cure but we have this one drug you can take that might help"

@US_FDA conducts no quality control, no pill testing . They do set limitations on promising therapies for #pALS but don't feel obligated to test our 1 drug

Something nobody tells you is how hard using an eye gazer all day is. It's mentally exhausting

If you have #ALS or not and use an #EyeGazer all day, I recommend installing f.lux. It adjusts your screen as the sun sets so you don't strain your eyes

We need to show the world the real #ALS and not just celebrities in the very early stage. We need to make people feel uncomfortable.

I have seen ludicrously unqualified Patient Reps chosen out of indifference and panelists assuming expertise on rare diseases they have zero experience with. I see no reason for hope
