Figure AI has partnered with Catalyst Brands to deploy robots at its Reno, NV distribution center, starting with its Joey Pouch sorting system. The humanoid robots will automate repetitive sorting/packing tasks.
Catalyst Brands operates JCPenney, Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers, Lucky Brand, and Nautica.
It’s the first agreement between Figure and a Brookfield portfolio company. Brookfield holds significant stake in Catalyst.
