@Kidsdoc1Rick @drdagly I’ve only seen one patient with tetanus (an adult behind on their boosters) and it was horrible. If anyone actually saw a person with it, they’d vaccinate! I was triaging once and had a kid with a head lac, mom said kid didn’t need tetanus vaccine bc they were breastfed 😑

High-quality care transitions from the ED are important to improving patient outcomes and preventing unnecessary transitions back to acute care. EDs need to be partners in the system-level work to improve health care integration, quality, and value.
