Solarisation in Pakistan happened not because of the government. But in spite of it. Because people are tired of paying Rs 60 per unit for unreliable power.
Indian narrative is in freefall. Every attempt by their media to patch the story together only results in more cracks. As India remains stuck in the past, Pakistan is charging ahead.
Here, @najamsethi embodies the composure of a rising power facing off against a rattled one.
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl
A new milestone for humankind: The crew of Artemis II are now the farthest any human has ever travelled, reaching a maximum distance of 252,752 miles from Earth.
This surpasses the previous record set by Apollo 13 in 1970 by about 4,102 miles.
Born in 1832, Jonathan the tortoise turned 193 today. Yes… 193. This dude is literally the oldest land animal alive. He survived 2 world wars, outlived 40 U.S. presidents, 8 British monarchs, and probably watched more drama on Earth than all of us combined.
He can’t see and smell anymore, but he still recognizes his caretakers just by voice and touch like a wise old gangster. Think about this: Jonathan was alive before the lightbulb existed… and there is a high chance he might still be here AFTER some of us are gone. Happy birthday legend... keep confusing time, history, and all of us… and may you live many more years!
CEO of America’s largest public hospital system says he’s ready to replace radiologists with AI.
Mitchell H. Katz, MD, the president and CEO of New York City’s public hospital system, has stated that he is prepared to begin replacing radiologists with artificial intelligence for certain diagnostic tasks as soon as the regulatory environment permits. Speaking at a recent panel, Katz highlighted the potential for AI to serve as the "first reader" for routine screenings such as mammograms and X-rays, which would allow hospitals to realize significant financial savings amid the rising costs of human specialists. In this scenario, radiologists would transition into a secondary role, only reviewing images that the technology identifies as abnormal. Other healthcare leaders supported this vision, citing data that suggests AI can be more accurate than humans in specific low-risk screenings.
However, this proposal has met with intense opposition from medical professionals who argue that such a shift would pose a severe threat to patient safety. Radiologists have criticized hospital administrators for being "confidently uninformed," claiming that current AI technology is not yet capable of providing independent patient care without human oversight.
In just 55 hours, four brave humans will strap into Orion as the launch window opens for Artemis II, the first crewed journey beyond low Earth orbit in over 50 years.
This is the spark.
The moment we stop talking about returning to the Moon… and finally do it.
A stepping stone to a permanent lunar base.
A launchpad for Mars.
The first real stride toward becoming a multi-planetary species.
I’ve dreamed about this since I was a kid. And now, humanity is finally standing at the edge of a new frontier where we will make our dreams a reality.
So why isn’t the entire world losing their minds with excitement right now?
I know I am.
This is history in the making.

Incredible moment as a US General refuses to commit to telling Congress if he receives illegal orders from Trump. Senator Warren absolutely goes off, calling Trump a lawless commander in chief and Hegseth his self-styled Secretary of War. The coverup is real.
