If Jesus had returned, you world know it. If you understand scripture as a Protestant now, you should know that. If Jesus was here, would the Mass be necessary? This makes it pretty clear that you had no idea what the Mass is as a Catholic. As a cradle Catholic who has no understanding of their faith, whose responsibility is it to know Jesus, yours or the Churches? I'll pray for you as a fallen away Catholic. I'm sorry that you decided that your own feelings and understanding were more important than knowing our Lord. Turning away from the Eucharist is something that I cannot fathom as a Christian.
