Indian worker Vipin Kumar has been awarded honorary citizenship by the city of Craiova, Romania, after he jumped into an icy lake and saved the life of a 5-year-old girl. 🇮🇳🇷🇴
For nearly 30 minutes, he held the child above freezing water until rescuers arrived.
This is the side of Indians the world rarely sees in headlines: courage, sacrifice, compassion and humanity.
Yet stories like this seldom receive the attention that anti-India narratives do. No coverage from Western media outlets.
As India's envoy noted, Vipin's actions embodied the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam "The World is One Family." ❤️
The era of Copilot execution is here. Introducing Copilot Cowork – a new way to delegate work across Microsoft 365 with checkpoints + approval built in. Check it out: https://t.co/cwl18TCAWl
Announcing Copilot Cowork, a new way to complete tasks and get work done in M365.
When you hand off a task to Cowork, it turns your request into a plan and executes it across your apps and files, grounded in your work data and operating within M365’s security and governance boundaries.
@Bob1German Wow. Can't imagine developer series without you in it, Bob! Saddened that you are leaving, but glad for what you have in future! All the best!
Was out for a Sunday breakfast and stumbled into an impromptu #EdSheeran performance at Church street. Only for the plug to be abruptly pulled by Bangalore police. BLR really does have surprises at every corner

@sama GPT like simple, UI to build Agents along with triggers to invoke it - like when I receive an email, when I get a WhatsApp message, time triggers - every morning at 9am. I want to integrate ChatGPT in my personal workflows.
@SullyOmarr I agree. Chat may work for certain cases where end users are familiar with chatbots. But for most of non-technical users, AI should be interweaved into their existing familiar interfaces. Case in point Google Maps
Are we over indexing on chat UX when building #LLM apps? Any good tech should serve its users quietly, almost invisible to them and should feel natural to the user to get their work done. What if we could apply this philosophy to #Google Maps?

@mushfiq_sajib Feel like there is lot more potential for AI in Maps. Why can't I talk / converse with maps to find me a location? What if you can have an all knowledgeable area guide in your pocket -

@bindureddy Agreed that future of search would be RAG allowing NL voice or text input. But should it always be a bot? I feel like Google could leverage some of its popular apps UI to show RAG results. Bot is not a moat. But a pin in a 1B userbase map is hard for @perplexity_ai or @OpenAI

@bindureddy Curious to hear your opinion on this - Do you think Gemini must be integrated in other popular Google apps as a semi chat experience to drive faster and wider adoption?
Just cuz ChatGPT had a chat based UX breakthrough, should Google follow same route?

Just cuz ChatGPT had a chat based UX breakthrough, everyone else is following the same modality.

With LLMs,Maps could be an intelligent AI with an intimate knowledge of every nook and cranny of a village, except this "village" is entire charted planet. Imagine a future where Maps doesn't just guide you, but understands you and changes the way you interact with your world.

While platforms like @perplexity_ai have shown us the potential for search engines that provide summarized responses, emulating the dataset and the familiar Maps UI that encourages users towards next action is a big challenge.
