It's Christmas Jumper day today for staff and sixth formers. Our data team as usual are leading the way for festive sartorial style. These waistcoats have been handmade by the super talented Ms Atherton. How #worldclass are they???

So what DOES help improve outcomes for disadvantaged white boys? @JeanGrossCBE in @tes: "One thing that will help is good teaching. There is good evidence that being exposed to higher-quality teaching makes more difference to disadvantaged pupils than others."

Last year's yr 11 and 13 students and their families are invited to celebrate their successes @CovCathedral at the end of term. One of the many events that were sadly cancelled last year, we look forward to a wonderful evening catching up with friends in amazing surroundings.

At 11o'clock we held a 2 minute silence to remember those who have lost their lives in war. This poppy has been painted by the tennis courts to remind students of the sacrifices made. #lestweforget

The sixth form's first football match was against year 11. We didn't quite win, but it was such a joy to watch the game, and see Patrick taking a lead! Thank you Mr Shepherd for refereeing, and to everyone who played. Next match is against @FP2SixthForm. @FinhamPark @FinhamPE

Sixth form mentors were given training on discriminatory/erasing LGBTQ++ language at their meeting today. It is definitely worth a read-such powerful stuff! Thank you Ms Bartlett and Kai - the training was amazing! @FinhamPark @finhamt @FinhamDrama @FinhamParkMAT
