GPT-6 Astra generates the best zero-shot Real2Sim assets tested against Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1. It’s also the most expensive.
We gave frontier models ~20 iPhone captures of real-world objects and asked them to recreate them as realistic, functional NVIDIA Isaac Sim assets:

Austausch mit Benjamin Balde @ControlAI. Während wir in Deutschland ununterbrochen über die @AfD diskutieren, ändern sich weltweit komplett die Grundlagen für Bildung, Forschung, Produktion und Sicherheit. An dieser Debatte nehmen wir kaum teil, und werden so komplett abhängig
Astra is dominating existing robot policies. But what can Astra do that existing policies could not?
We analyzed 10 tasks, 5 Episodes each on Astra, Pi0.5, Nvidia’s Cosmos3 Nano and Gr00t 1.7 on RoboLab.
1) Astra is by far the most reliable model in terms of object recognition:
Introducing Pion, agents for running fully autonomous companies, any company.
We’ve used Pion to run vending machines, radios, stores, cafes & more. How much could Pion make running other companies? Find out yourself! Setup is trivial, the agents do the rest.
This is the last post in a four-part series about the successionist challenge to humanist morality, how the problem of succession is central to the challenge AI transition, and what the arguments in favor of humanist morality really are.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Not to my knowledge (not sure whether that’s because similar attacks haven’t happened or because they weren’t disclosed). I’m also not sure how open American frontier labs would have been if HF hadn’t disclosed first. We’re now learning about cyberattacks from months ago that were never made public. My understanding is that there’s a very strong culture of secrecy there, and I hope that changes quickly. It feels increasingly clear that we need 100x more transparency in AI if we want to make faster progress on safety/alignment and rebuild trust.
We are launching Convergent Robotics, an independent research lab for physical AI safety. We think robot capabilities are improving faster than the technologies we need to make them safe.
It is time to build the foundations of safe physical AI.

Can you lift moral value out of the human and into something else, like AI? Utilitarian /Benthamite/abstracted moral theories tend to say yes. I argue they're missing something: we are the moral territory, and the individual is more fundamental than utility. Post & thread ->
