Uber’s COO is right about one thing: the ROI isn’t showing up.
But the problem isn’t AI. It’s architecture.
Most companies are burning through tokens because nobody designed the system properly from the start. Wrong models for the wrong tasks. No orchestration layer. No cost governance. Just raw API calls and hope.
That’s not an AI problem. That’s an engineering problem.
At Red Rock, we build AI infrastructure that is designed to perform and designed to be affordable. For banks, hospitals, enterprise. From day one.
The companies that will win the next decade are not the ones that spend the most on AI. They are the ones that build it right.
We can help with that.
“Rockets are a primitive solution to interplanetary travel. Entire layers of physics remain undiscovered. One day, we will look back at our current understanding of matter, energy and motion the same way we now look at ancient astronomy”
— Riccardo Ammendola • The Chairman of Red Rock
TRANSLATION:
Big Energy and OPEC need more time to keep the strait closed while oil and LNG executives close more deals, and the WEF gets its manufactured inflation, recession, and distressed-asset-stripping crisis.
Once we’re done, we’ll announce the deal we already agreed to.
In the meantime, you deal with the inflation.
You will own nothing and be happy.
“Draining the swamp” meant draining the global middle class that doesn’t own the appreciating assets.
Meanwhile, you get distracted with left-versus-right politics, capitalism vs. communism, manufactured immigration, and fake wars on terror while we price you out of the markets.
You can pretend elections matter while the financial-industrial complex sets the policy and tells you when the strait will reopen through our insurers.
Go distract yourself at a Tommy Robinson rally and vent some frustration there.
It will make no difference, and we’ll use it to build your social credit score, pre-crime social media arrest data, and digital ID profile.
Theatre.
🇦🇪 Dubai is full of traffic and crowds again. Already missing the Iranian fireworks — they helped clear the city of the easily impressed.
The UAE’s air defenses proved excellent under fire. For 0% tax, we get better protection than Europeans paying 50%.
Five years of continuous work with @AUDubai.
What began as a project collaboration has evolved into something more structurally interesting: a direct bridge between academic research and the operational frontiers of sovereign digital systems.
The model we are building with AUD goes further than standard industry-university partnerships. Students get real access to frontier technologies before those technologies are mainstream. Enterprises get direct co-creation with the next generation of engineers.
The future is not taught. It is built.
And the engineers who will define digital sovereignty in this region are already in the building.

Coinbase’s CEO just laid off 14% of the company. And he’s right.
Brian Armstrong wrote a letter to his entire team today that is worth reading carefully, because it isn’t just about Coinbase.
It’s about what is happening to every company in the world right now.
The thesis is simple: AI is not an optional competitive advantage. It is an ontological restructuring force acting on work itself. An engineer using AI ships in days what used to take a whole team weeks. Non-technical teams are writing production code. Operational workflows are being automated. And this curve will not flatten, it will accelerate.
Armstrong calls it an “inflection point.” I call it the moment when the old contract between enterprise and headcount is dissolved forever.
But there is something I want to say that goes beyond companies.
It concerns individuals.
Every time a story like this breaks, the public debate polarizes: on one side, those who celebrate efficiency; on the other, those who cry dehumanization. Both readings miss the essential point.
AI is not the enemy. AI is a mirror.
It reflects with brutal clarity who has chosen to evolve and who has chosen to wait. Who has built new competencies and who has clung to yesterday’s certainties. Who has understood that human value in the next decade will not lie in routine execution, but in judgment, in vision, in the capacity to orchestrate intelligent systems toward meaningful ends.
At Red Rock, this is exactly what we are building.
We do not believe in large pyramidal organizations with endless layers of coordination. We believe in small, high cognitive-density teams, amplified by autonomous agentic infrastructure.
Not “people who use AI.” People who think with AI, who direct its flows, who govern its ethical and strategic boundaries, who make it work while they sleep.
This is what Armstrong calls “AI-native pods.” This is what we call the future of enterprise: not a question of size, but of intellectual leverage.
The question each of us should be asking today is not “is my job safe?”
The question is: “Am I learning to command, or am I waiting to be commanded?”
AI cannot be uninvented. But it can be mastered.
And that is precisely the choice every person, every company, every system faces at this moment in history.
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , we are launching today a new initiative to transform towards Agentic AI (self-executing and self-leading artificial intelligence) in Dubai’s private sector.
Our goal is for Dubai to become the world’s leading city in adopting these technologies economically and commercially — giving us a new competitive edge for the future.
The transformation program spans two years and includes specialized training tracks for all business councils affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
We have also directed the Chamber to establish incubators for Agentic AI companies to support this transformation, create new economic opportunities for young people in this field, and set up dedicated funds to back this new shift.
Our objective is to empower our companies to adopt these technologies that will boost productivity, expand business volumes, and reshape the city — making its economy the best in the world in adopting Agentic AI technologies.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid is today leading a comprehensive movement to reshape Dubai into the world’s most future-ready city — technologically, economically, in infrastructure, and with facilities that elevate quality of life to standards no one has reached before.
A partnership was formalized. A structure was put in place. Development began.
Red Rock and City Meta Lab have entered a strategic partnership to build the National Food and Seed Sovereignty Institute, a long-term initiative aligned with UAE Vision 2040, focused on secure food systems, resilient seed infrastructure, and institutional-grade technological governance.
The distinction between this and most AgriTech initiatives: seed sovereignty. Not just food security. Control over the genetic layer of the food system, the knowledge, the data, the seeds themselves.
City Meta Lab brings architectural intelligence and spatial systems design. Red Rock contributes AI-driven operational governance, secure digital infrastructure, and systems architecture.
Two design philosophies, one institutional framework.

Most AI systems are still consumed as services. That model does not create ownership.
We are designing modular AI server units, built to integrate directly into existing infrastructures.
Not tools. Not apps. Infrastructure.
Control of intelligence must remain with those who deploy it. That is sovereignty.
We are investing in beauty as well. Technology should not only function. It should be experienced.
These units will power Seedelligence, our infrastructure for the future of agriculture,
and Neuralane, our AI brain designed to automate complex processes across governments and large enterprises.
AI will not be something you access.
It will be something you own, deploy, and operate.

It’s important to understand that AI agents aren’t just a toy. They’re a powerful tool, but they can also be destructive if you don’t rely on professionals.
We were the first company in the United Arab Emirates to work with this technology, and we can help you use it in a completely safe and professional manner.
Book a visit to our offices in Dubai Internet City, and we’ll show you what we’ve been able to develop so far!
This week, we had the privilege of participating in the Emirates Agriculture Conference & Exhibition 2026, hosted by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change & Environment.
An event that goes far beyond agriculture it represents a national vision.
A vision where: food security becomes infrastructure, technology becomes sovereignty, and innovation becomes policy.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment for creating a platform of this magnitude, bringing together institutions, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the future of sustainable agriculture.
The United Arab Emirates continues to demonstrate what long-term thinking truly looks like: not reacting to challenges, but architecting solutions decades ahead.
For Red Rock, this was not just presence, it was alignment.
Alignment with a country that understands that the future of food is not grown by chance, but engineered through intelligence, systems, and vision.
Seedelligence has entered the right room and this is only the beginning.
We do not just build software for clients. We encode our engineering standards into open infrastructure anyone can use.
Two packages, live on npm under the redrock-technology profile:
- noticore: multi-channel notification orchestration for NestJS. Unified lifecycle management across push, SMS, and email. Queue-based async processing with retries, status tracking, and error handling. Built for reliability in production, not just happy-path delivery.
- kafka-mq: structured Kafka integration for NestJS. Opinionated, modular, decorator-based. Reduces the boilerplate that makes Kafka codebases fragile as teams scale.
These are not utilities. They are packaged architecture decisions. The same standard we bring to every client engagement.

AI is not a marketing statement at Red Rock. It is part of our daily engineering workflow.
Here is exactly how we use it.
Claude handles architectural logic, pattern validation, and test generation. What used to take 2 hours to scaffold now takes 20 to 30 minutes.
ChatGPT and Grok run parallel on R&D: technology comparison, protocol exploration, rapid research before engineering decisions are locked.
Cursor drives day-to-day implementation: code generation aligned to our internal standards, refactoring, boilerplate reduction at speed.
The result: up to 70 to 80 percent reduction in scaffolding time on some workstreams. More comprehensive test coverage. Cleaner, more standardized code.
AI does not replace engineering ownership. It multiplies it.

The UAE is not waiting for the future. It is building it.
HH Sheikh Mohammed’s announcement today confirms what we at Red Rock Technology have believed from day one: Agentic AI is not a feature… it is the next layer of governance infrastructure.
We are proud to already be working in the Emirates, developing and scaling enterprise AI solutions designed exactly for this transformation. The direction is clear. The mandate is real. And we are ready.
The UAE deserves nothing less than the most advanced AI infrastructure on the planet. We are here to help build it!
STEP Dubai 2026 is done.
For those who were not there: it was less a conference and more a compression event. Founders, institutional stakeholders, policymakers, and engineers, all operating in the same physical space for a few days, making decisions that would otherwise take months of back-and-forth to reach.
Red Rock participated as an official sponsor and as an active contributor within the ecosystem. Not as observers. We engage where systems are defined.
Operating from Dubai Internet City while STEP takes place inside Dubai Internet City is not accidental.
The geography aligns with the mission. We build sovereign digital infrastructure from within the environment where that infrastructure's governance is being shaped.
The conversations that started at STEP are now moving into structured execution.

40 startups. 50 countries. One conversation: the future of food sovereignty in the Gulf.
Red Rock has been selected for the Emirates Agriculture Conference & Exhibition organised by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ADNEC Al Ain, 22–26 April.
The next strategic infrastructure after energy will be food. We are here to build it!
Universal High Income solves the money problem. It does not solve the food problem, @elonmusk.
Before governments write checks, they need to guarantee that the goods those checks can buy actually exist produced autonomously, at scale, regardless of climate, geography or supply chain fragility.
AI and robotics will not just produce abstract goods and services. They will produce food. In deserts. In controlled environments. With 95% less water. Without human labour. Continuously.
This is not agriculture. This is infrastructure.
The same way the 20th century built energy grids to guarantee power access, the 21st century will build autonomous food systems to guarantee food access. Not as aid. As engineered national infrastructure.
Universal High Income without Universal Food Security is a floor built on sand.
Seedelligence is building the food infrastructure layer that makes your vision structurally sound.
The next strategic infrastructure after energy is food. We are building it starting in the Gulf, designed for every arid region on Earth, and ultimately for settlements beyond it.
You described the economic consequence of AI. We are building one of its most fundamental physical outputs.
