@Colo_swfc06 Heskey on a permanent is exactly the profile of player we should be going for. They won’t all turn into saleable assets but we only need 1 or 2 to do so and it can accelerate the process
@jeayse_jay@swiddoy76 Cole Palmer I’ll accept, I think he’s the omission we may regret.
Foden is an exceptional talent but he’s been very average for England. He’s arguably 3rd or 4th choice in his favoured position and completely ineffective off the left.
@StanCollymore Agreed Stan. While we’re at it though progress needs to be made on the goalkeeper injury nonsense we see in England.
It’s essentially the same thing and kills momentum just as much
@SamNevin98 It’s exactly what Wilson said we would be doing.
The presence of experience in the squad is key to creating an environment where the younger players can thrive, develop and carry us forward or move on for profit.
A whole squad of ‘potential’ would be mental
@_cobibudge In the last tournament Saka was far too passive on possession most of the time. Almost wary of taking anyone on.
There’s much more directness with Noni.. just a shame he currently lacks the end product of a Saka. If you could combine the two we’d be laughing
@YesWeCrann I liked Pato first time round. If he returns then I think I’d judge it against the rest of the business.
By that I mean if he’s part of a leadership group in place to support promising younger talent and is seen more as a squad player then I can get on board.
