Obviously there are mitigating factors for the drop-off. Opposition adapting, squad turnover, injuries, player form, Diogo. But it’s a stat that does also give ammunition to those that think the start of last season was largely down to player muscle-memory from Klopp’s tenure.

Salah started 2 league games in January, February & March combined. When those players were fit in 2024-2025, they coasted to the league title win.
