The success of this past season was not possible without the selfless work of our student athletes and coaching staff!
Indoor season coming in hot! #movemountains
“I don’t have time to lift.”
I hear this from EVERY client
You’re right. You don’t have time to ADD strength training on top of your current running volume.
So stop trying to add it. Replace a run instead.
Most 9 to 5ers would get faster and stay healthier running LESS and lifting MORE.
But we romanticize mileage. We count weekly volume. We compare Strava totals.
Nobody brags about their single-leg deadlift progression.
But the real reason morning training works?
You actually do it.
6am runners have removed the variables that derail training. They've made their goals non-negotiable by scheduling them when life can't interfere.
Want your kid to become a great runner? Encourage them to play soccer, tennis, basketball, go mountain biking, hike, and climb—let them enjoy these activities as much as they want until they specialize in one sport at the end of high school (even college)

If you devote your life to something, becomes easy to spot the grifter. I have no idea if huberman is or not)
You don’t have to look far to see folks in online run/sprint/s&c world who are full of crap. Never actually done anything, charging BOATLOADS of money for poor services
Late to party on this, but just read that awful Andrew Huberman hagiography in Time. The implication some scientists don't like him because they're just too cautious is daft.
Here's a hint: Misrepresenting findings & evidence to hawk supplements is grifting, not science
Credentials required to be a Twitter track coach:
• “Run in college” - D1-D10 doesn’t matter if it’s a level after high school your hired
• Makes tweets extremely complicated and complex - multiple lines, and big words
• Use “complex” heart rates and pace zones…
What's the most important lesson you've learned about running? If you could only tell a new runner one thing for them to be successful, what would it be?
Plyometrics are as effective as supershoes for boosting running economy. But they're seen as complicated, time-consuming, and possibly injury-inducing.
-> new study finds that simply hopping on the spot is enough to trigger significant economy gains
