@cambrosia3@pafc_brad Wasn’t saying it because I think I’m hard, I was saying it because I think it’s gimpy behaviour to be that negative over someone who’s played two games. Whatever pal.
@cambrosia3@pafc_brad If he’s shit in a month and a half, then fair enough. No point slandering a signing after two games when he showed plenty in the first. Negative gimp.
@cambrosia3@pafc_brad You could take any striker in world football and on occasion they’d still miss that chance (Not that Evans will ever be close to Haaland). My point is that until he’s played a reasonable amount of games it’s stupid to judge him. As many have pointed out, Bim.
Even a text message asking people not to light fires during exceptional heat causes a massive national argument. There truly is no hope for this place.
Not everything is a conspiracy against you.
19 homes burned down and 2 trains derailed in England a month after a massive awful fire across Scotland and you're annoyed you were momentarily startled by a phone noise.
I’ve travelled all over the world. I’m fortunate to have done so. When I’m abroad I have had text alerts to risk.
Nobody started losing their fucking minds over it. They appreciate the heads up.
Honestly, it’s like living in a country with toddlers. Grow the fuck up.
@ewpaisley Well yes, maybe they thought that, and I don’t doubt that they do have a higher tier, as do we, but it doesn’t change that that’s exactly what the system is for and it’s use shouldn’t be restricted to stuff like nuclear attacks when it can also help with smaller things.
@ewpaisley It’s an emergency alert sent to every phone. The only difference is the noise it makes, which is more of a sharp ring. But it’s functionally the same system.
@suttonpodcast Disagree. Lived in Korea for a while and they use it all the time, from missing persons to flood risk, if it saves or protects people then why on earth not use it? That’s its point.
@martinpauthenet@Seanj87 You’re right, I misspoke on that. However CO2 primarily sits in the troposphere, so ‘space from the top of the atmosphere’ doesn’t really work out.
@ASimpleFro95451@RupertDarwall The issue with that is that much of the infrastructure is outdated, so investment in future technologies is a significant part of updating and sorting out the infrastructure to begin with.
@Georgeturnerutb Are you fucking retarded or what? Regardless of how a fire is ignited, this country would not be experiencing widespread fires like this if not for the conditions set by climate change! Pigheaded fuck.
