Mets relief prospect Ben Simon will be the opener for Team Israel on Saturday vs Team Venezuela.
Simon has been up to 98 mph this spring and has pitched three scoreless innings.
Per Manager Brad Ausmus:
Ben Simon will start Game 1 against Venezuela.
Dean Kremer will start Game 2 against Nicaragua.
