WHY HR MAY BE ASKING

Possible explanations include:

2. They are attempting to obtain information about your private relationships or personal life.

3. They may be indirectly fishing for information about pregnancy, family planning or relationship status.

4. They may be testing how much inappropriate questioning you will tolerate.

5. The interviewer may simply be behaving unprofessionally rather than following a legitimate recruitment process.
