@thsottiaux@OpenAI like what is this absurdity , if my weekly limit is refreshing then refresh my 5hr limit as well with that .
Anyways i am not able to exhaust my weekly limit due to this 5hr BS and on top of that a normal reset doesnt reset the 5hr limit , i mean come on , @thsottiaux@OpenAI
as much as i love using codex , i hate the 5-hr limit , and on top of that i just got my weekly limit refilled but guess what since i was at 0 percent 5hr limit , i'll have to wait for 5hrs for this limit to refresh then only i can use codex again ???? 1/2

That changes how you work. Instead of optimizing every prompt, I can focus on solving the actual engineering problem.
If you're spending a big chunk of your day in a terminal or editor, GPT-5.6 + Codex is definitely worth trying.
At work, I've been using it daily while working on our Order Management System—designing APIs, implementing Redis-backed workflows, integrating Shopify, working with Supabase Auth & RBAC, debugging backend issues, and reviewing architecture decisions.

I used Claude Code quite a bit before this, and while it's a great tool, GPT-5.6 has been noticeably more cost-efficient for the amount of work I get done. I can iterate on ideas, ask follow-up questions, generate tests, review PRs, and debug complex issues
@heavyspoilers I wish people were online LESS. To be fair, I guess, a lot of those people are nothing more than engagement farmers. They say the dumbest, most toxic shit for the pure purpose of pissing us off into replying to them. I've started to simply ignore them. I feel happier.
