Another interesting landslide sent to me by ex-student Derek Cronmiller who works at the Yukon Geological Survey. The Chandindu River landslide is about 30 km south of Dawson City Yukon. Lots of molards and it blocked the river. 1/3
After seven and a half years, today is my last day at CASP @CaspOutreach will shortly be starting a new job @EnvAgency . I’ve had some incredible experiences and been to places most people could only dream of, meeting lifelong friends along the way. I wish CASP all the best.
@CaspOutreach Despite lot's of rain, we don't often see rainbows in Svalbard. Thankful, Svalbard is one of the least homophobic and most accepting places you can visit. Photo: Horsund from the Etanin, 2015. #Pride
@markrwilliamson ... Also, maybe a coincidence but I haven't seen a single acorn in Cambridgeshire this year. I wonder if the dry/hot weather is affecting the oak trees ability to fruit.
@markrwilliamson I'm really surprised the low rainfall in Cambridgeshire during the last year hasn't had more media attention. The start of the year was exceptionally dry. Check out the gauges on the Cam https://t.co/cd0LfEsSfm
East Anglia received 121% of long term average rainfall in November - but flow on River Cam is still classed as 'exceptionally low'. Just 32% of the LTA
This is exactly why some of richest and most powerful back Brexit despite the economic forecasts e.g. Peter Hargreaves, Arron Banks. Brexit = Volatility = Opportunities for the rich to get richer. #brexit#pound#Sterling
I will keep fighting on. I hope you will join me, we have so much to fight for.
We are now clearly the main opposition to the Tories here in South Cambs and we will be holding our new MP to account on all the promises he made us as South Cambs residents.
@mollieblog @DanGreef Are you kidding? Dan could have done much more. If only he'd stopped pretending to be the "remain candidate" and supported @IanSollom we would have got the Tories out!
@DanGreef @dave4labour @andygkennedy@PALythgoe@DanielZeichner Dan claimed throughout to be candidate best placed to beat the Tories despite all the evidence otherwise. By splitting the vote, I can't help but think he's partly responsible for tonight's result.
Things could have been so much different. Had @DanGreef stepped aside for @IanSollom. We tried and tried to tell you. A sad time for South Cambridgeshire.
South Cambridgeshire result: Conservative hold
Conservative Anthony Browne: 31,015
Liberal Democrat Ian Sollom: 28,111
Labour Dan Greef: 7,803

@GondorianDotCom@ClareDelders @j_merrells @IanSollom@UKLabour@LibDems That's a shame! The evidence is out there and easy to find. I too was a bit surprised as to the volume of leaflets but it shows they are fighting hard for your vote. We'll find out soon enough I guess. Bring on the results!
