A video captured the moment when the crowd at the Lexington Tree Lighting Ceremony began the countdown, expecting a dazzling display, only to see a few strings of lights illuminate around the tree. Confusion and groans spread through the crowd, with some initially thinking it was a joke or a tease before realizing it was the actual lighting. Despite the disappointment, many laughed light-heartedly at the situation. The good news is that the town later rescheduled the tree lighting for later in the week and fixed the issue.
