I witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and operational licence agreement between the Uganda Communications Commission and Starlink, marking an important step towards the commencement of their operations in Uganda.
Our interest is security, revenue assurance, and proper accountability within the telecommunications sector so that we know who is operating and who the customers are. I am pleased that Starlink has agreed to comply with Uganda’s laws and regulatory requirements as it prepares to begin service delivery in the country. I wish them good luck.
It was a pleasure spending time with the incredible production team at @UgandaMediaCent as they prepare for the swearing-in. Witnessing their professionalism and dedication firsthand was truly inspiring.
Big thanks to MD @kasujja for the guidance and commitment to mentoring young talent to deliver excellence.
Great things are ahead as we continue to showcase Uganda’s story.

Honored to have received the ABETO Peace Award 2026 alongside my colleagues.

Big ideas need the right space.
At the National Innovation ICT Hub, innovators connect, collaborate, and turn bold thinking into real solutions.
Whether you’re building, testing, or creating, there’s room here for your next breakthrough.
Your space for engagement and innovation starts here.
Highlights from last week’s visit of @Allen_Kagina, Chairperson of @TVETCouncilUg and Board Member of @mtnfoundationug, to the National ICT Innovation Hub, Nakawa.
The visit focused on assessing the impact of the MTN ACE Programme, supported by @mtnug and implemented by @CenteTech. She also engaged with innovators in the labs, where young people are building solutions and applying industry-relevant digital skills.
We’d like to thank MTN and all our partners for your continued support in this journey.

Today, in partnership with @pdpoUG, we hosted an insightful session on data protection, where we created space for women to learn, share, and take charge of their digital rights.
We explored how women can confidently navigate the online world, protecting personal data, understanding digital risks, and embracing the responsibilities that come with being connected.
From how data is collected and used to practical privacy tips, today's session highlighted empowerment through knowledge.
Thank you to all the ladies who joined us in shaping a safer, more inclusive digital future.
