"Smith got caught in her own trap. Pushing separation while at the same time pretending to be a federalist was never going to work. She’s been doing it for so long now voters have had a chance to see through the ruse. They don’t approve and are supporting a unified Canada".

This is even funnier when you know that Jeffrey Rath fought tooth and nail to avoid paying child support for his own child. #ABPoli

After being sworn in as MLA for Calgary-Shaw, I signed the pledge to defend Canada. As a proud fourth-generation Canadian, I firmly oppose separatism.
My ancestors fought for freedom and Canada in WWII; we carry that legacy on. Albertans deserve to know where their MLA stands.
“Smith changed the law three times to help separatists, and she’s gerrymandering electoral boundaries. Now, her government is making it harder to properly scrutineer the vote and reach pro-Canada voters.”https://t.co/HjKaaXo7ob
This hits the nail on the head. Alberta separatists are rolling out the red carpet for Trump Republicans. But “freedom” is the last thing we’ll get if we open the door to becoming “MAGA North.” Thanks to artist David Parkins from the Globe and Mail for this drawing.
"Mitch Sylvestre, chief executive officer of the Alberta Prosperity Project, said in an interview with The Globe and Mail that Foreign Influence Transparency Commissioner Anton Boegman’s office contacted the organization by e-mail on Sept. 18, but the communication was only discovered on Tuesday in its junk mail folder."
The dog ate my treason.
Foreign influence watchdog reached out to Alberta separatist group that met with U.S. State Department, leader says - The Globe and Mail https://t.co/gU8vv6G7Jo
5. Nothing in acute care will get better. Because we need a sophisticated discussion and plan which involves teams and community support and new beds.
6. Govt has to admit there is a problem and work with all health care workers to tackle it.
Alberta will not be the weak link that causes a breakup of Canada.
Alberta will not give in to separatists and their American enablers.
Alberta will come out and vote to stay in Canada and we’ll solve our disagreements without foreign interference.

This would be a very good thing to do. If there is going to be any hope of the federal government stepping in it will be because enough of us write to them.
Please consider doing this.
Our emergency departments are still overwhelmed. We need an aggressive plan to support discharge with expanded home-care and supportive living transition spaces. It’s been eight months since the UCP said things would be better in EDs within 30 days.
A short-term agreement is a step in the right direction but we still haven’t seen a single triage liaison physician (as promised by the UCP) hired. Patients, and staff, are concerned about hospital overcrowding and getting the right care when they need it.
Calls are growing for an investigation into foreign interference.
This is after a report says Alberta separatists met with U.S. Republican delegates.
Trump and Republicans offered separatists access to Alberta fresh water and oil royalties in exchange for help.
This is not acceptable!

🚨No.🚨 ⬇️
Alberta has BADLY failed in forcing its oil & gas producers to clean up their mess. Take responsibility minister, do your damn job, force cleanup at a massively accelerated pace by law & through enforcement.
THEN you can start to talk about industry superpowers.
This is a critical distinction in this debate.
The issue is not about private or public facilities; it is about private vs public pay.
Most care these days is offered as public pay in a private facility (MD office).
What the data shows is private pay is bad.
