Austrian FCA results of fuels sector inquiry:
1) Price increase not due to lack of competition on retail (gas station) level.
2) Increase (mostly) due to increase in wholesale prices. Wholesale market quotes to be reviewed.
3) Gross margins on reffinery level increased 3-fold!

Ergebnisse für Kraftstoff zusammengefasst:
1) Keine signifikanten Anzeichen für fehlenden #Wettbewerb auf Ebene Tankstellen.
2) Preisansteig an Zapfsäule lässt sich auf internationale (Großhandels-) Preise zurückführen.
3) Bruttomargen Raffinerien stark gestiegen (3x!)

@MarethBrian @CompetitionProf Of course we do not know definitely. But that in itself is not an argument FOR the claim that #meta, whatever is may turn out to be, is innovative. Here, I see little but ideas previously tried and - more or less - rejected, at least on a broad scale.

@CompetitionProf That's not to argue against fantasies as drivers of innovation and competition, but to me, #meta does sounds like such a mere fantasy with little actual and (more or less) concrete innovative drive.

@CompetitionProf The hypothesis sounds reasonable and logical, but I don't see how #meta is a good example of "bold innovation trajectory". It looks, sounds and feels much more like a tech bro fantasy rather than innovation.
