@EdHand89 Bonds in the HOF is the biggest no-brainer in the whole world. The institution is not valid without Bonds in it.
>.500 OBP for four consecutive seasons? On base >half the time over like 2400 PA? In MLB? Who does that? Plenty of guys were juiced. No one else did that.
@EdHand89 The presumption of purity on the part of the Fenway faithful in this conversation is a bit rich. Should the Red Sox not sell tickets or merch to fans with a DV or a DUI in their past, too?
The baseball problem remains that our subject may be a velo guy losing steam.
@tangotiger If I hear more "could" I'm going to start saying "couldn't" and vice-versa, because I think the important thing about the phrase, either way, is the its speakers deep lack of concern for picayune parsing.
@RobertAllenPoet I've seen that too. It's fine among the people I choose to interact with and observe, but there used to be interesting diversions and discussions in unrelated posts and now there is a sputtering horrorshow of provocation in so many places. I no longer post, only comment.
@tangotiger 1986 because the Sox were up in the series and the meltdown was at the end of the game. If the Yankees had held on, they still had yeoman's work to do.
