We are delighted to publish a new @ClydeWetlands mapping study for the @GlasgowCityRgn. The study led by @GCVGreenNetwork provides new data and evidence for the region to target future #wetland creation & help identify #NatureNetworks💧🌱🦋
What bad urban leadership looks like. Anyone who truly understands how cities actually work, and why they succeed or fail, knows that this isn’t “motorists vs everyone else.” Designing cities for cars fails for everyone, including drivers.
This doesn’t bode well for UK cities.
There has been much discussion about the likely failure of Thames Water in the last day or so. I’ve been looking at the accounts of England’s water companies for the last twenty years. My conclusion is that they are all environmentally insolvent. So, a thread…..
"We are all playing Covid roulette. The next infection could be the one that permanently disables you. I’ve been hit three times so far, and feel lucky still to be active. But I’ve lost a little every time"

@glasgow_kat Beautifully written Kat, I'm so sorry. I hope you all continue to find peace and comfort in family, friends and nature. Thinking of you often and sending ❤
@SGriffin_Lab@chrischirp@emilylcraig@SamJWilsonPhD @WilsonLabCVR @martinmckee We also desperately need to get clean air into nurseries and schools. Our 3 year old twins are constantly picking up infections at nursery and sharing them at home. It's our weak link 😔
We are seeking to employ a Peatland ACTION Project Officer, funded through the @PeatlandACTION Fund, to develop and deliver a programme of large-scale peatland restoration across the eight local authorities that make up @GlasgowCityRgn. Apply here 👇

@criminographer I'm so sorry, your story is heartbreaking. I also have an A and a F, twins just a few months younger than Alexander. He is such a happy boy in your photos. Thinking of you all this month and have made a donation to #sudc UK in A's memory.
This!
I bought an ebike which is great, especially for transporting heavy toddlers around a city, but keeping it secure is a total headache.
So many bike thefts it just puts you off using it.
@suemajor Bike theft is a SIGNIFICANT barrier to increased urban biking/e-biking, with its MANY public benefits, in cities everywhere. It’s a massively underestimated & hugely under-addressed public policy issue for City Halls/Police Depts. Mayors, chief planners & police chiefs take note!

@jessphillips As someone with a partner that works in the NHS in a patient-facing role, everyone could help by masking, certainly in indoor spaces.
My partner has never been so unwell in the last year, which means he can't be in work treating people.
We can all help here!
