The 1948 forming of the Israel nation is seen by some evangelicals as unrelated to biblical promises and the cause of strife, others see it as God keeping his promises found thoughout the Bible.

A Jew can be both the seed of Abraham and child, a gentile cannot be his seed but can be his child.
