@utopicanthro@brokebackstan@offbeatorbit Probably, but esp without any scans or biopsy info they would have no idea what and how much they would need to remove. Also for some cancers there is an increased risk of metastasis if a tumor is ruptured
@theoceanblooms@jailedamanda I still haven’t recovered from the Tom holland interview where he said he would call marvel from the Odyssey set and be like “hey so I’m not going to come in until we have an actual story/script ready this time”
I enjoy Taylor swift a healthy amount like I will sob in my car to epiphany till the cows come home but there’s a sinister light in her eyes not unlike that of an anglerfish’s lure that tells me she microwaves hamsters whenever Joe pisses her off
@Ronald_one_@montypythong That episode of Real Housewives where Bella calls her mom to ask what she should do because she hasn’t eaten for days before a photoshoot and her mom’s answer was to chew on a handful of almonds. Not swallow, just chew them….
@MoreAvocadoes@_tweetness Exactly!! I think an equivalent would be if you gifted a baby item made of silk or another difficult to wash material, because then it’s burdensome to the recipient. There’s a way to show off your creativity while still meeting the needs of everyone involved!!
@CheesyYet@bednnap@d33pfak3ch0pra@JC_Sweaty@DivestSPD like I have done research and read the Angela Davis book everyone says to. agreed with most of it esp the idea that if material needs are met most crime will decrease. Never found an answer to the violent crime question, and imo there are things that are just unpreventable
@Idkfu69@CheesyYet@d33pfak3ch0pra@JC_Sweaty@DivestSPD And that’s informing how I ask questions about the issue. I wouldn’t be asking what would be done with dangerous people if it was mutually understood there would be some form of physical restraint used, but that’s not what “abolition” means
@Idkfu69@CheesyYet@d33pfak3ch0pra@JC_Sweaty@DivestSPD This might be silly and pedantic but why call it “abolition” if the goal isn’t actually abolition? Because when I respond to someone advocating for it I’m assuming they genuinely want to be rid of any form of restraint
