there needs to be a training programme for final year arts students and recent grads where u do like a week rotation of various practical jobs, gardening, electrics, plumbing, to j get to grips with stuff u can do which isnt the suffocation of the lower echelons of the art world
i mean. for everyone. this should exist for everyone and hands on skills should be treated like legitimate career paths and presented to young ppl like academia and stem are. but selfishly, for arts grads
