This week, @krmc_pocus performed our first TEE in the ED in a critical patient. We're one of the few programs in the country that perform resuscitative TEE in the ED. This is the start to a great future in emergency medicine and we're grateful for our hospital's support!
Study showed 326 patients had SVT ablation along with left heart cath at the same time. CAD was found in 14%. Troponin was elevated in 83% of CAD patients and 47% in those without CAD.
Avoid troponin testing in patients with uncomplicated SVT.
