@alleria_eh Dude was recruited to play division one college football, he might not be a physical specimen at this point, but the dude’s definitely spent pleanty of time in gyms
@peterssmith6@Nightynigh78133@InlandCaGuy@mattyglesias Yes it’s fictionalized, but just watch The Warriors to get the vibe of inner cities 1970s. Also, there was essentially a civil war in Detroit in 1967 - 43 deaths, over 1k injuries. With a few exceptions, cities are way better today.
@aletheiarsc@LeylaKuni Maybe. Another possibility is they’ve tightened credit and are doing a higher proportion of their lending to better credits (or at least credits that are perceived as better). I’m not in that game so don’t know which is the driver here, but I would guess a little of both.
@tridactyls@ausome_a Saying that people are dressed like whores isn’t signaling virtue, not to mention his entire bot was mostly making fun of himself.
@MomAngtrades@Hedgeye I’d move the age up a few years, but probably directionally correct. 40-ish olds graduated college into the great financial crisis, with its 10%+ unemployment rate. College prices were also ballooning (though not to the level they are now). And non-college jobs also way down.
