Geospatial AR opens up a whole new experience layer of the world around us. One that is supercharged when you add in the distribution of a platform like Google Maps.
In December we launched the first AR music discovery experience directly inside Google Maps.
Working with Justice, WRLDS, and our amazing partners on the Geospatial Creator team at Google, we were able to bring a pilot project to life that takes fans on a journey through iconic Parisian venues, all through the lens of the spaces and places that played a key role in Justice's career.

We worked with @EpicGames and @UnrealEngine to bring live broadcast AR back to the @coachella x @YouTube livestream this year for Anyma, Grimes, and DJ Snake's performances.

We worked with @Nike to use mobile AR on @instagram and @Snap to launch a @coachella-exclusive Air Max colorway ๐คณ
Fans were able to scan a QR code next to Spectra to launch an AR experience. Random users were presented with an encrypted barcode that enabled them to visit the on-site Nike activation to claim a ๐ prize.
In our 3rd year of producing a partnership between @coachella and @Meta, we continued expanding the festival with a series of interconnected mobile AR campaigns. Over the past three years, our team has built more than 30 AR experiences for Coachella.
If you add up all the time spent by Coachella fans using AR in 2024, you get 262 years! ๐คณ
To close out the @FortniteGame partnership, @coachella did a full takeover of @FNFestival so fans could feel what it's like to play Coachella's virtual stages ๐ธ
We also revamped Sahara Island with a new minigame and music by @djsnake... our first attempt at experimenting with a modular virtual music venue.
We produced a virtual activation for @CocaCola inside @coachella's Sahara Island in @FortniteGame
It features a remix room where players can make tunes using Fortnite's latest UEFN music creation tool, Patchwork ๐ผ๐ถ

Who's ready to play some Quests onchain?
This weekend at @coachella we're launching Coachella Quests, a gamified loyalty app built @avax. It allows fans to complete quests online and offline to earn NFT stamps and win prizes like merch, VIP upgrades, guest passes, and more.
The goal is to drive valuable consumer actions for the festival while rewarding fans for their engagement.
We're building this onchain so that as fans earn stamps, the festival is able to learn more about their activities and interests while protecting their identity and privacy.
This year we're continuing our work at @coachella expanding the festival online, onchain, and across new mediums and formats.
We're producing partnerships and programs with Epic Games, Fortnite, Meta, Avalanche, OpenSea, Nike, and Coca Cola. Stay tuned!
