The charitable organisation of PACE Training UK working to support local communities with physical and mental well-being. Particularly focusing on Young people.
Great session last night at our Coalfields Kick about session. This is aimed primarily at men between 35 and 55 in the Kent Coalfield area. It has been supported by @ColyerFergusson and @CoalfieldsRegen . It runs from 7.15pm to 8.45 on Mondays. Come and join us.
@VRyouthwork @natyouthagency I was a YW in a school for a while. It was good supporting yp with various needs. Lots of the work was referrals, taking away the voluntary nature of the youth worker/yp relationship which I always cherished. Youth work in Kent is very different now to when I first started.
Though our funding for bikeability has been handed to an in-house group by the SGO, this @BikeabilityUK Small Organisation of the Year has found a way to still deliver. Group 3 made the 10 mile round trip to Deal pier as part of our Widening participation project. @EmilyCcherry
Out in the pouring rain delivering a community sports session tonight at Wincheap school. Football followed by dodgeball. Sun came out and we were rewarded with a double 🌈 🌈

Great to get the first 10 miler completed in our Widening participation project. Took in the lovely Deal Pier en-route. @BikeabilityUK@BikeabilityT @EmilyCcherry
Ironic that this came today from @BikeabilityUK as we run our last Level two course after 13 years following the SGO handing the delivery to an in-house operator who is not yet registered on the bikeability website and who has no-one yet qualified to deliver bikeability.
