One of the ways in which we create sustainable food systems is by improving access to markets for farmers. With over 100 poultry farmers, 78% of which are women, we are able to offtake chicken from farmers in rural Kenya and distribute to hotels, cafes and restaurants. Through this, we distribute highly nutritious foods while impacting livelihoods.

These women farmers from Manicaland and Masvingo lose much of their fresh produce when the markert gets oversupplied. Underdeveloped food systems with no value-addition, and no access to export opportunities mean severe daily losses for these hardworking farmers.
