#BBCLauraK#Kemi is absolutely right- I have stopped voting in my local elections a long time ago, my opinion does not matter one little bit where I live, in Sheffield, where Labour and Greens make decisions like the money grows on trees
@BBCPolitics@bbclaurak There's a considerable lack of introspection in the political reasoning in the west and course of questions you posed to #BorisJohnson ; why not ask if offering a Nato membership to Ukraine was also a mistake? Freedom is great but we live in a real world
#bbclaurak never been a Labour voter, but you gave Kier Starmer a very unfair roasting, based on centric, London based heat storm. The truth is, there is no money so things are tough. I believe his motto should be- Unite or Die to all this background noise
@guydelauney great, for the west-a largely eye opening article on Croatia's Thompson concerts; just a couple of small corrections: Krajina was not a Serb stronghold, they have lived there for many generations and they were not "displaced" from Croatia but expelled and killed
@__asroy@JamesMillerHi@BBCkatyaadler That is so very true but in trying to explain the difficulties between Serbs and Albanians, she chose to pitch grannies from the market and an incoherent semi star from Belgrade against police and video footage. Without bothering to see what the other side endures
@JazzAdrianR@BBCkatyaadler No, it was certainly not done very well, careful curating of truths, the BBC should hang their heads in shame
More like a girl's travelogue
@BBCkatyaadler I cannot understand why you could not come up with someone knowledgeable who could explain the Serbian position and history of Serbia in a coherent way? Compounding the West's misconceptions?
And to say we bossed the region?? We were under the Turks for 500 years! Dissapointed
@bbclaurak Why can't we have AI lined up to spot an online two way combination of interest in eg extremism +abuse content to flag future perpetrators to relevant authorities
