@amytheorangutan @TNTUKOfficial Hi, really sorry I’ve just seen this. I eventually got it but I had to sit on hold for well over an hour to get through to someone who could actually help! Keep trying and you will get there - hope it has arrived!
@FedExEurope Please can someone contact me urgently? I’m waiting for my passport and I’ve been cut off from customer services twice today - been an hour waiting each time!
After a fire at a London tower block, which has some similar cladding to the type used on Grenfell Tower, the developers have insisted the cladding didn't combust, but residents are asking why there were delays in replacements.
@symeonbrown reports.

.@BorisJohnson with a salary of £150k (previously >£600k) cannot afford to pay for £60k curtains he chose.
But he forces l/hs, with a salary of £50k to pay over £80k to fix defects we did not create, with £20k waking watch bills on top. And his MPs defend this with their votes.
Finally, we must give a huge thank you to the very many Peers and MPs who are standing with us, not least @SMcPartland@Royston_Smith
,
@BishopStAlbans
,
@KathPinnock
and the Earl of Lytton.
Thank you for fighting this battle alongside, and for, us. 13/
Building regulations have been inadequate for decades, developers built badly, manufacturers faked fire tests, insurers have taken advantage and warranty providers are doing everything they can to avoid responsibility – yet it is the victims who are being made to suffer. 12/
This afternoon, the Lords defeated the Government – for a very significant third time – on the Bishop of St Alban’s amendment to protect the innocent victims of the UK-wide building safety scandal from huge and unaffordable costs. 1/
The government must realise that leaseholders cannot, and should not cover the exorbitant costs of repairing buildings they bought in good faith, with existing fire safety failings from when they were developed.
After 3 and a half years of broken promises and burying their heads in the sand, the Government can today do what needs to be done: accept the failures of the Building Safety Fund (BSF) and Fire Safety Bill, support Labour’s cladding motion and finally End Our Cladding Scandal!
I challenge @RobertJenrick in 2021 to prevent leaseholders from paying a penny towards costs for remedial works & other defects. Change the legislation, make those that are actually responsible pay not us. #JenrickChallenge#EndOurCladdingScandal
After hearing what Niki and her family have been through, @talktalk joins forces with @JamieTheakston and @AmandaHolden to organise an amazing surprise to help make their #Christmas extra special this year ❤️

The Chancellor @RishiSunak has announced a new £1bn Building Safety Fund for removing all unsafe cladding from buildings over 18m. We look forward to seeing the detail and continuing to work with government on building safety. #Budget2020
