As for Schengen, this is the eighth enlargement and the first after 11 years.

Italy and Tunisia will build a 200km (DC-600MW power) submarine power line to link the countries. The project and work will be executed by italian transmission operator company Terna SpA, and tunisian Steg, and will become a new energy supply corridor from Africa to Europe.
