imagine if someone in 2016 told me that in 10 years I’d have more respect for Macklemore than Radiohead. the kind of prediction that medieval kings used to kill their seers for making.
The prosecutor who was investigating these CIA strikes was murdered. One of the boats is still missing. Survivors of the other two strikes say they were tortured before being dumped in El Salvador. All 3 craft were licensed commercial vessels cleared by Ecuadorian authorities and there is no indication they were engaged in drug trafficking. This is a scandal and horror of epic proportions.
🇪🇨 Ecuador bans AMIGO party as electoral purge deepens
Ecuador’s Contentious Electoral Tribunal (TCE) issued as suspension against the AMIGO political movement, disqualifying it ahead of November’s local elections.
The sanction leaves former president Rafael Correa’s Revolución Ciudadana alliance without a viable political vehicle after its main party was previously sidelined. The ruling marks the latest ban of an opposition movement executed without due process.
Opposition leaders have condemned the tribunal’s decision as a heavy-handed measure designed to dismantle systemic competition and tilt the playing field directly in favor of President Daniel Noboa’s political movement.
Rubio claimed that China’s presence in the Western Hemisphere harms the interests of the United States and other countries.
Honestly.
First of all, the Western Hemisphere does not belong to the United States.
This planet never authorized Washington to divide the world into private hunting grounds.
America owns its own territory.
Not Latin America.
Not the Caribbean.
Not Panama.
Not Venezuela.
Not the hemisphere.
And the country harming people across the world is not China.
It is the empire that crosses oceans to bomb, invade, sanction, kidnap, assassinate, destabilize, and plunder.
China builds ports.
America sends Marines.
China builds railways.
America funds coups.
China signs trade deals.
America writes kill lists.
So when Rubio says China has “intruded” into America’s hemisphere, what he really means is:
“How dare other countries talk to nations we still consider our backyard?”
This has nothing to do with security.
It is the United States trying to impose colonial ownership over the 21st-century world.
The people of any country do not need Washington’s permission to trade with China.
They need freedom from the empire that has treated them like plantation property for two centuries.
TODAY— Photos were smuggled out of Ecuador’s prisons and published by the brave Karol Noroña. Under the current U.S.-backed military dictatorship, inmates are starved and 1 dies every 7 hours— an alarming rate for the 2nd smallest nation in South America. NOBOA IS A MURDERER.
Yesterday, the U.S. declared two gangs in Brazil as terrorist organizations.
Two weeks ago I said it would happen.
Why? This is how they swung several elections in Latin America last year to ensure far-right sycophantic leaders won, thus giving the U.S. free rein in Latin America.

As someone living under a US-backed dictatorship, I can tell you this is how it begins. 2 years and 21 State of Exceptions later, we’re ruled by perpetual martial law with Pentagon bombs, sexual torture, military checkpoints, activists starved, waterboarded or disappeared by soldiers. A little DEA operation turns into the opening of an entire FBI Office in our capital, the military killing protesters at a general strike turned into targeted assassination plots on indigenous labor activists, a few visits from a U.S. Envoy turns into U.S. boots-on-the-ground operations where campesinos are electrocuted. Ecuador has lived all of this already: the hijacking of a once socialist nation literally beat into a Yankee colony. We cannot let it happen to our sister nation of Bolivia too.
we are starting another “special military operation.” cuba is no threat to the us, we have terrorized them for decades for fighting and winning sovereignty for their people.
