@PierrePoilievre Does this mean if you become Prime Minister that you will remove the speaker’s authority to oversee the House of Commons? If you’re PM does the executive branch of our govt get to control our legislative house? That’s scary and truly banana republic.
@NadineGNess@CrisBairosFern Teachers teach the curriculum approved by the province. Have you read the curriculum? It’s available online. Go ahead; we’ll wait.
@RajRoyallepage @willwertheim @PierrePoilievre Don’t look now but Yves-François Blanchet is the leader of the Bloc Québécois party and they all sit as elected members of the House of Commons. Their stated mission is to separate Quebec from Canada.
In Canada you can disagree with your government and not be declared a criminal
@joewallin@SpeakerMcCarthy Choice ain’t always better. You can buy 20 different versions of Cheerios, but choice isn’t going to make a better breakfast cereal. Maybe one, we’ll funded, run by professional teachers, public school system might work?
@stephen_taylor Defund the CBC and watch our country disconnect from one region to the next. Private media companies are not going to serve the Yukon, Labrador, Newfoundland, and the far North.
Yellowknife needed local media voices and messages this week. CBC made it happen.
@PierrePoilievre Did anybody on this tribunal have degrees as a virologist, or specialist in public health? Do armed forces personnel still get inoculated for malaria and other diseases found in more tropical areas when deployed? Does that violate their rights too?
@Bitshashgubmint@krassenstein@ChooseGoodKarma What wasn’t fine was a USA death rate from Covid-19 at least 4X that of other developed nations. Americans went into the pandemic with significant public health issues like obesity & diabetes. That didn’t help. Time to fix this!
@TorontoStar Pearson might be doing better but Air Canada is a still a bad joke. Many, many cancelled flights last weekend. Four hour line up for customer service! Days of holiday, for many people lost!
@MikePMoffatt @theGDPs What ever happened to personal responsibility? I guess, if government is seen as what holds you back, you’d best not pause in front of too many mirrors.
@bambkb@brianlilley Maybe it’s time to read up on how parliament works. Coalitions and cooperation agreements between parties is not a crime. JT is PM until he loses confidence of the House. He’s cashed in some chips. Election coming.
@discerning_mama @CheriDiNovo It was, and can be again, top notch. Who broke it? Who is starving it of billions of dollars in resources and staff? Why?

@the_truth_alway@CheriDiNovo It takes six years of university education to become a qualified teacher in Ontario. $100,000 seems about right after 10 years experience.
@BobHepburn@RoyalFamily@Coronation2023@TorontoStar I’m good with Canada evolving it’s relationship with the House of Windsor; but the Monarchy isn’t an anachronism. With our current Constitution, no PM is a Commander-In-chief. With our current system Crown Attorneys can do their jobs without pandering to partisan politics.
