LOL! It’s been 15 months since I last tweeted and when I did, it was about the debt limit. Seriously though I’m not sure I’ve ever agreed more with Krugman https://t.co/6Ztv7b8nNx
@JWPascale@CutTheNozzle And adding a standard outlet to light poles is basically free compared to L2 chargers and voltage upgrades. Why not do what’s quick cheap and possible rather than doing nothing! Need to change that legislation.
@JWPascale@CutTheNozzle But the reality is all these people stringing cords across the sidewalk would be perfectly happy with L1 charging which is what they have now… but without the X-cord, and with free juice
@petercoy Hi Peter. A related question I’m surprised I haven’t heard asked yet, maybe you have? If GOP want Dems to raise the debt limit by a specific amount, via reconciliation, why wouldn’t Dems just raise it to “one octillion dollars” and be done with the whole thing?
Serious question, y’all. If GOP want Dems to raise the debt limit by a specific amount, AND do it by reconciliation, why wouldn’t Dems thumb their noses at the whole process AND permanently take it off the table by raising it to “one octillion dollars”?
It's time for #DCStatehood.
We're proud to have worked with @51for51 and artists César Maxit and Nessar Jahanbin in creating D.C.'s newest mural — located at the intersection of 11th & Vermont Ave. NW — showcasing the power of the past and present statehood movement.
NEW:
Our mural with @LCVoters honors the legacy of Josephine Butler: a #DCStatehood champion, climate justice advocate, and celebrated community activist.
Today, we continue her fight for statehood for the 700,000 mostly Black and Brown D.C residents.
“A team of international observers invited by the Trump admin issued a preliminary report giving high marks to the conduct of last week’s elections.
And it criticizes Trump for making baseless allegations that the outcome resulted from systematic fraud.”

@RonBrownstein@SenSanders Valid to question whether new renewables should be publicly owned, but since nearly all those EV’s and renewables have been added in the last 3 years, and the growth curves are still accelerating, it’s clear the overall targets are achievable. More important, they’re necessary!
Who's your representative for this important vote on climate change? Find out and get in touch because without higher turnout, "the energy policy of the United States may be influenced by fewer than 500 people." https://t.co/2f2jSyI90V @JustinHGillis@nytimes
