God isn’t ever going to forsake us, but He will go to great lengths to remake us. It’s a process that doesn’t usually feel good at the time, but God assures us it will be good in time.
When we pause to pray....
We step from the doorway of discouragement to the pathway of peace.
We trade worry for worship.
We magnify God and become less intimidated by our problems.
Yes, I want less of my brain power and more of His prayer power in my life.
Lasting peace can be found when we realize Jesus is our source for peace and He is always with us. I love this truth.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 (NIV)
Oh, Jesus. We just want to stop and thank You for who You are today.
You are the Way when there seems to be no way.
You are the Truth that silences the lies that scream at us in deafening tones.
You are Life, certain and secure. Amen.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Remember ... today is the best day to...
Live out a Bible verse or two.
Write the first sentence.
Sign up for that class.
Run that first lap.
Make the phone call.
Apologize and give grace.
When we multiply these choices over the years, we’ll be amazed at what happens.❤️
“No matter how advanced its progress, any civilization that neglects its spiritual and moral life is going to disintegrate. This is the history of mankind, and it is our problem still today.” —Billy Graham
Hard days reveal what easy days hide.
Nobody's attitude gets tested on a good day.
Nobody's faith gets proven when everything is working. Nobody's character shows up when the meeting goes well and the boss is happy and the project lands perfectly.
That's just a good day.
The hard day is where everything real lives.
How you treat people when you're tired.
How you respond when you're wronged.
How you show up when showing up costs you something.
That's the version of you that matters.
In the end, Jesus wins. We know that full well and can cling to it when it feels like the heartbreak might take us out.
Keep going today. Your story is far from over.
Maybe forgiveness feels like a cruel demand, a gift too unfair to give.
But forgiveness isn’t about letting them go free… it’s about letting you breathe again.
