LeBron joins forces with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe, creating one of the most stacked cores in the NBA.
The East just got a whole lot scarier.

@TexasCoachMike You are a master communicator and a wealth of knowledge. I wish I lived in the area so I could learn from you in person.
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!!!
@TexasCoachMike A message I can get behind.
Well intentioned over-feedback is not effective in boosting learning or performance.
Changing the perspective that there will be more missed shots while we give them space to work it out.
@TexasCoachMike Your teams play excellent soccer - technical, smart and pleasing to the eye.
Proof is that it’s just not one team. You’ve done this with multiple teams with video evidence.
You are an incredible coach!

What does holding high expectations for kids look like in practice?
@FitFounder Not getting annoyed at small things is overlooked. It requires the ability to be present but with a long term perspective. Getting to and staying in this mindset is a journey. Any additional thoughts you can share on this luxury?
@DanPoche Have you ever noticed that if you get a group of kids together with soccer culture there’s little kick ball?
They might not be the best athletes but they inherently know to keep the ball for themselves, know how to use their teammates and will play possession soccer w/o a coach.
@DanPoche DNA of the American player?
DNA of the American coach?
DNA of the American parent?
Yes to all 3 but the root cause:
DNA of the American soccer culture
Soccer in America is over coached, over competitive, and over organized.
There’s no ownership of the game by the players.
