@LeoGoneSavage@LuiAltt You say that as if moving is no big deal. I don't know about the UK, but here in the states moving means deposits, getting utilities started, moving internet services, getting mail (post) rerouted, changing ID information, etc. Not to mention the actual move itself. Not simple.
@ClownWorld I used to work at Papa Johns. This is how pizza is made anywhere. Employees wash their hands mutilple times a day during this process, with soap and hot water. The pizza is cooked in a high temperature oven. Nobody is getting sick from this.
@Dave72025165121@NASA You can't know when that's going to happen, so how do you expect them to get photos? Also, most of the meteor impacts happen on the far side, which we can't see from earth. Also, the astronauts did report seeing impact flashes at one point during their flyby.
@BernardRMichaud@NASA Because it's not. It's spinning at one revolution per day. The 1000 mph is the tangential speed - aka the rotational velocity - of the Earth's surface at the equator. It's the result of dividing the earth's circumference (about 24,901 miles) by 24 hours.
@libsoftiktok Why can't a business just be a business and conduct business without getting involved in politics? My dream is to own a business that provides a quality product or service and isn't pressured to take a stance on any issues.
@Provokethoughtz He's not religious either, so makes sense.
On abortion: The consistent biblical theme is that God is the author of life, values it deeply from its earliest formation, and views the unborn as persons under His care and plan.
Psalm 139:13-16, Jer 1:5, Psalm 51:5, & Luke 1:41-44.
@MattWalshBlog Not true. There are plenty of male therapists. I picked mine specifically because he's male and has a Christian slant to his practice. He's been very helpful for me, especially in navigating my divorce after 30 years of marriage and helping me work through my self esteem issues.
@elonmusk I hate style guides. I never used them in school. Even when I worked as an associate faculty at a local community college, I would tell my students to just pick a formatting style they're comfortable with and be consistent. I wouldn't recognize AP style if it hit me on the head.
