@RepMTG Sexually mutilating your children as a way of virtue-signaling is always wrong.
It doesn’t matter if it’s cliterectomies in Kenya or castrations in California. It’s just evil. #FGM#protectchildren
AOC: "Elon is one of the most unintelligent billionaires I've met or seen."
A bartender is insulting the intelligence of the man who built Tesla and SpaceX.
History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet.
Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years.
And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor.
You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.
Chicago lost the Bears this week. A team that's been in the city since 1921.
They didn't lose them to a bigger market or a better deal. The Bears decided they'd rather be a tenant in Indiana than deal with Illinois for one more year.
Think about how badly you have to run a place for that to be the smart move.
They lost them for two reasons.
The people running Illinois would rather villainize a builder than keep one. And they're bad at their jobs.
In 2021 the Bears spent $197M on the old Arlington Park racetrack.
Before they could break ground, Cook County valued the empty lot at $192M (Bears said $60M). They were salivating at the chance to extort a building that didn't even exist yet.
That fight dragged on for years.
The Bears were ready to put $2B into the stadium. All they wanted was a promise the county wouldn't reassess them into oblivion, plus $855M for infrastructure everyone uses. Roads, transit, utilities. A $3B project, two thirds of it private money pouring into Illinois.
Springfield had since 2021 to get this done. They dragged it to the final night of session, passed it through the Senate at 3:39AM, and the House went home without voting.
So now it's all gone.
The funniest part? This started because Cook County tried to grab the tax early. They knew a built stadium would pay $53M a year. Now they get under $4M on a vacant lot. No jobs, no buildout, no new anything.
Congrats on fighting for scraps and losing the whole prize.
Pritzker: they're "an $8.5B valued business" that doesn't need propping up.
But be smart for a second. Almost every NFL city throws in public money for a stadium. Not charity. The return is real. Tourism, hotels, restaurants, jobs, game days, property tax on a huge development. The math works.
Indiana did the math. While Illinois sat on it for years, Indiana passed a bill in months, put up $1B, and took the team.
And the Bears took a worse deal to get there. In Illinois they were going to own their stadium. In Indiana they rent it from the state. A team that wanted to build its own home gave up ownership just to escape Chicago.
Nobody won but Indiana. The Bears lost their stadium. Illinois lost the team, the $2B, and $53M a year in taxes.
Pritzker after they left: "I wasn't willing to give up billions of dollars of taxpayer money to give it to a billionaire-owned family or team."
There it is. "Billionaire-owned."
That's how Democrats talk about any business right before they run it out of town. Call them a billionaire, act like you're saving working families, take a victory lap while the tax base drives across the state line.
Meanwhile they're running the whole state into the ground. And you already know how this ends. You're living in it.
Pensions are $143B in the hole, worst in the country and not close. You pay $6,285 a year in property taxes, double the $2,969 national average, for a city that's $1.15B in the red. The mayor called its finances "the point of no return."
When you run things this badly, you sell what's left.
They leased the parking meters for 75 years to Morgan Stanley and a sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi. Took $1.15B and burned through it in two years. The investors already made it all back, with 58 years left to collect.
Sold the Skyway. Sold the downtown garages. Every asset that made money, gone for one check.
But a fixed property tax rate for a team that's been here 106 years? That's "propping up billionaires."
Companies are leaving. Boeing for Virginia. Caterpillar for Texas. Citadel for Miami. In 2023 alone Illinois lost 56,000 people and $6B in income to other states. The ones who left earned a third more than the ones who moved in.
Indiana didn't outbid anyone. AAA credit, 16 years straight. A $676M surplus. Fourth-lowest debt per person in the country. They just weren't a disaster.
Illinois could have collected $53M a year. It chose zero. Ignore all the bad management but make sure to stick it to those evil, pesky billionaires.
Memo to Teddy: Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Bill Gates and so many Dems I dont have enough Twitter space to list them all are in the Epstein Files, and and so what? For all the hoopla surrounding the Epstein Files, we have learned nothing other than people looked the other way from his 2008 conviction for sleeping with a 17 year old prostitute. Trump, meanwhile, broke off all contact years before. So did Clinton. My advice to Teddy: Get a new conspiracy theory that we can laugh at.
@micsolana@KurtSchlichter Hanna got hundreds of millions from inheritance. Knowing he got rich by someone else’s efforts often makes a man feel small and bitter. Envious of achievers.
There are 2 types of people:
1. People who see a trillionaire and wonder how they can innovate and emulate such success
2. People who see a trillionaire and seethe with resentment
Do everything you can to ensure you're always around the first kind of person.
Extensive evidence shows Palestinian leaders have demanded a state without Jewish residents or settlements.
Mahmoud Abbas (2013): “not a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands.”
Saeb Erekat: “No settler will be allowed to stay in the Palestinian state, not even a single one.”
Maen Areikat (PLO): Jews under Palestinian jurisdiction “will have to leave. Absolutely.”
Hamas governs Gaza with zero Jews and rejects any Jewish state.
Some officials said individuals could apply for citizenship, but the consistent position rejects enclaves and demands full evacuation to 1967 lines. Israel has ~21% Arab citizens with legal rights.
If she wasn’t working for Elon Gwynne Shotwell would be hailed as an incredible success story and the most powerful woman in aerospace.
Instead it’s radio silence from the media

Love him or hate him…
Nobody has changed more industries in a single lifetime.
Payments. Cars. Energy. Space. Social Media. Communications. AI.
History won’t remember the people who said it couldn’t be done.
It will remember the people who did it anyway.
Congratulations Elon.
The first trillionaire. 🚀
Elon Musk: There are no lords and peasants at Tesla. Everyone eats at the same table.
“I actually know the people on the line, because I worked on the line, I walked the line, I slept in the factory, and I worked beside them. So, I'm no stranger to them.
There are many people at Tesla who have gone from working on the line to being in senior management. There are no lords and peasants. Everyone eats at the same table. Everyone parks in the same parking lot.
At GM, there's a special elevator only for senior executives. We have no such thing at Tesla.
We give everyone stock options. Many people who are just working the line, who didn't even know what stocks were, we've made them millionaires.
And I just want to say that I'm incredibly appreciative of those who build the cars, and they know it.”
New York Times DealBook Summit, 2023
I genuinely do not understand how people hate this man
Look at the earnestness in his eyes in this video
He’s put 100% of his money on the line and come within inches of disaster a dozen times
And in the midst of it, you can see can see the emotion of sadness at being dismissed by people he cares about
Anyone with a functioning brain can see this is his genuine heart and soul behind this
He has prevailed against the longest of long odds.
It just gets me fired up. I want to be even a small percent of this great. What an inspiration.
Hello Senator....
This November it will be 50 years since you were first elected to Congress, so we want to be the first to say .
"Happy 50th Anniversary of drawing a taxpayer funded salary."
That is quite an achievement.
In fact - you are 2nd longest-still serving member in Congress.
It has been a long time since you held a private sector job.
AND yes 50 years ago - in 1976 (it was America's Bicentennial that year) - people still punched clocks back then. The world has changed a lot.
During your 50 years in Congress - you watched as the creators and inventors and producers changed the world, creating trillions in new wealth, millions of new jobs and dramatically raising living standards for everyone rich and poor alike.
And for 50 years you have voted to raise taxes and regulate and oversee every move of the private sector.
You have never created or invented or produced. Just taxed and regulated and outraged.
But thank you for using the platform the "TRILLIONAIRE class" has provided to the entire world for free to tell us all how disgusted you are.
We would never know otherwise.
