I think there was a re-rating of how much yield one would have to get in order to take the risk of depositing into aave. And the numbers just aren't there.
Sure, and I think that the previously productive person should have been a lot less heavily taxed on the hard work they did.
But their offspring, that might be doing nothing productive at all, doesn't deserve multiple millions.
Tbh i think this topic is less about taxation and more about how much one values the freedom of impacting society after you're dead, which I just happen to not care much about.
The number of people I have met in Europe that produce nothing but will inherit millions is insane.
My recommendation for you guys is to bump your inheritance tax by a LOT instead of taxing your people who are actually productive.
