We were immensely overwhelmed and then our own workers started dropping like flies themselves. We were running out of space, vents, and meds. We were triaging people in parking garages.

These people act like we didn’t try high flow or bipap before the vent (if applicable) so many people arrived in active ARDS and would have died had they not been vented asap
