This is just a reply guy account now because my new subspecialty job is too niche to avoid doxing myself. Plus maybe some commentary on crazy things I see in the city, but no professional talk. Love yβall - thanks for over a decade of #MedTwitter β€οΈ
@DrDiGiorgio Iβve worked in ASCs before and I like being mega efficient and able to go home when Iβm done. Our tech/RN are there for 12β regardless and might get another surgeons case bumped in after if we are βtooβ efficient, but thankfully theyβre good team players.
@DrDiGiorgio Iβm at a physician owned hospital and we average around 35 min turnover (and we do big cases with a ton of trays). We have the same team every day; everyoneβs interested in being efficient as possible, and I stay in the room all day and help clean/open.
I manually submit my therapy receipts to @uhc for claims. They started using AI for the claims submission which saves me exactly zero time. STOP USING AI FOR EVERYTHING OMG
@HannahDCox As someone whose partner died young, it's not any of your fucking business how it happened. Dead is dead, and it doesn't change anything if you know why or not.
Compassion is still cool.
