Here's a piece I wrote on how we Catholics should use AI. I look at both the Vatican & the spirituality of Madonna House, which would be more against using it. https://t.co/pcWjqdW0IU
This is legally a marriage but not ontologically a marriage.
Hannity is still married to Jill Rhodes as marriage only ends if a spouse dies (an annulment is a judgement that due to some fault at the beginning, no marriage ever existed).
Saying faith & family is most important is ironic when the relationship started as an affair & Hannity denied his Catholic faith to make it happen.
Fox News stars Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity tied the knot on Saturday at the historic Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, returning to the place where Hannity proposed over Christmas in 2024.
Surrounded by their children, relatives and closest friends, the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that reflected their shared faith and the importance of family in their lives.

If you want to be a teacher, missionary (parish priest in a foreign land), monk, professor, etc., be a religious. You have to find a different community for each.
@OctorokR I agree with you that it is true in so many cases, but there are a few counterexamples. Marshall Applewhite founded Heaven's Gate & castrated himself as part of the cult's practice.

A D&C for a dead baby is not an abortion, & not illegal in any US state.
Yes, a D&C is an abortion of done on a living baby, but living out dead is a big distinction.
I'm literally a Catholic priest who teaches bioethics in the seminary.
Raised Catholic, I was taught abortion was wrong in all circumstances. I became a single-issue voter.
Years later my first pregnancy ended tragically. At 12 weeks there was no heartbeat.
They scheduled a D&C. I was sobbing so hard during the procedure that they stopped and brought my husband in to calm me before trying again. That’s the same procedure used for abortion.
Since Roe fell, women in many states have been denied or delayed that care while doctors fear prosecution.
Abortion saved my life. It allowed me to go on and have three successful pregnancies.
I would never take life-saving care from a woman and her doctor. But if a woman’s faith precludes her from this, I respect her decision. That’s her choice for herself.
Changing your mind isn’t weakness. It’s strength.

@BackwardsFeet Honest guess: there is low demand (few Churches use them as many just have a speaker or no sound), so the company that makes them needs to charge enough to cover R&D on small volume plus make a profit. Plus as it is niche, they likely have a monopoly.
I'm simply distinguishing between a D&C with a live vs dead fetus. That is not misinformation.
The basic D&C procedure is the same, but ethnically these are radically different. Almost nobody thinks a D&C of a dead fetus is immoral, yet about half rightly understand a D&C of a live fetus is known as it's an abortion.
It's like most agree you can remove the heart from a dead person to transplant into someone else, but most also agree that doing this same procedure on a live person is manslaughter or murder.
🔴🔴 #BREAKING | The Vatican confirms that his latest medical tests show he is recovering well from cancer surgery and that there are no medical reasons preventing his November 6–17 apostolic trip to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru
“I am looking forward to returning to the continent where I’ve experienced so many moments of my life"
@StevenARamos If the woman's life is genuinely in danger, you can remove the fetus, knowing that he or she will die, in the same way you can do an action you know will kill another in self-defense ethically.
@drorfh@PonderHart Directly killing a fetus when the mother's life is not in danger is life-taking, not life-saving.
A dead fetus or another issue where the woman's life is truly in danger is a different story.
@MeTheCookieLady@drorfh If one's life is legitimately in danger - as you seem to indicate - Catholic teaching teaches you can remove the fetus know he or she will die, like self-defense. All states allow this as well.
Ok. I assumed her cleaning products were good for the materials tombs are made of. I don't care much about being certified here, but you need to know what chemicals work well on this surface.
If this was the complaint, I would agree, based on the information provided (I'm not too knowledgeable on the best chemicals). But that isn't the complaint I usually see about this.
I don't get the hate for this video. Cleaning tombs is part of the corporal work of mercy of burying the dead, not "pimping a tombstone."
Sure, displays of virtue are imperfect, & she may sell pink cleaning spray, but this is still wholesome.
@tiktok_us has real issues, but this isn't 1.
Most understand removing a heart for transplant from a living (murder) or dead (ethical) person is different despite the sabe procedure.
But then a bunch claim to not even understand how a D&C (sane procedure) might be different if the fetus is alive or dead. Even if you think both are ethical, you should be able to see some difference.
