great stories rarely start with someone already great.
building apps + content, trying to make this my life.
you’re early enough to watch the whole arc.
My first app is officially on the App Store for the Shipaton by @RevenueCat
So… where’s the part where 1 million users automatically download it overnight?
Don’t know what definition you all use for “best food,” but here’s a list of the best cuisines in the world.
Portugal is in 5th place. Cyprus is in 50th place.
He's right, the only good Portuguese food is grilled fish and it's just a fish on a grill with some salt put on
Portuguese that stay in Portugal have low standards and they don't have the money to travel far so they're in this vicious cycle where they think their food is great but they don't have anything to compare it with
International food is okay to bad here especially in Lisbon due to a shortage of workers so most of the kitchen is Nepalese and usually unskilled
There's a few exceptions like Honest Greens but it's by foreigners
If Portuguese food was so great, there'd be Portuguese restaurants around the world but it's not and there's not. Just like how there's no Dutch restaurants, it's just not good food
Today I learned that I can connect RevenueCat to PostHog.
So now I can get much more context around revenue and better understand why users aren't paying for my app and improve everything around conversion.
@MaxHirsch13 Did that as well, especially if you use cloud agents like Devin with macOS.
Now I can build TestFlight apps for every project or upload them directly.
It doesn’t matter which project, because the App Store Connect API is global, so you can manage all your apps.
Did a little bit of research on how I can market my apps:
> Create content around them and make people curious enough to try them
> Try subreddits without making it look like I’m asking people to use my app, but instead show how it solved a problem I had
> Do some ASO to also get organic traffic from the App Store
Can anyone tell me why promoting your own apps feels so weird?
I developed my first app. It’s good, and it’s ready to use.
Now I actually have to market it and record videos for other social media platforms.
But promoting it feels so weird, like I’m a beggar or something. WHY???

Today we're introducing updates that make Devin significantly cheaper. It's now:
▪️ 30–40% cheaper in Fusion and Normal
▪️ 15–20% cheaper in Ultra
▪️ Up to 70% cheaper in Devin Review
All while improving capabilities – Devin Fusion now ranks first on FrontierCode 1.1 Extended.
The same thing happened with YouTube videos and short-form content.
Hyper-edits used to be a huge viral factor because they were seen as art.
Now, with Higgsfield and other tools, you can hyper-edit stuff (especially car edits) with ease.
That’s why a lot of videos going viral on TikTok or YouTube now are barely edited at all.
They feel like some amateur just pressed record and uploaded it without editing anything.
Okay, THIS is actually a really cool Devin feature.
It scanned one of my codebases for performance issues and sorted them from critical to low.
Now I can just tell Devin to fix them and focus on other stuff, like distributing the app!
